the sweeping insensitivity of this still life

  • Playing: guitar
  • Eating: chocolate/ peppermint bark
  • Drinking: tea
imogen heap is amazing!!!!!

she is basically my favorite.

i went to her concert last tuesday with shaun and alison and it was really fantastic. and it was hot. and the whole thing was basically a mosh pit. w/o the violence. there was a lot of shoving , though.

so. these past few weeks, i've been really pissed off about emily not being in cahmber choir. she completly deserves to be in there and mrs. ganski won't let her in because of social problems. that's RETARDED! send emily some love. i heart you emily.

well, anyways, i'm in chamber choir, but i don;t want to say much about it because it's really not cool that emily's not in there.

oklahoma is coming along. i've got rehersal tomorrow and wednesday, so that's lots of fun.

The Holiday is now my favorite movie. i actually was crying an laughing at the same time. it was so great.

my little emnotionicon guy makes me giggle. hehe, he's so angry.

well. hmm. my brother is decorating with christmas lights. we were supposed to get a tree tonight, but it didn't happen.

and i would also like to say that our new OPAS ruitine doesn't suck. it's actually kind of cool.

yeah.

Tell Me I'm Yours

tell me you're mine. tell me i'm anything but fine.

I don't like writing journals.

i haven't written one in a very long time. but i figured that i should.

so, hmmm, what's happened over the past two months? well, i started school on emily's birthday. and had my birthday the day after. i only have two classes that i loathe. they are geometry and health. Health is incredibley boring and is the last period of the day so i just hate sitting in that class. not to mention that none of my friends are in that class and i'm either left with people i really don't want to be around. As for geometry; i actually like math, and i like having that class, but i sit right next to Karl and Bryce and Stephen rodgers and Jacob trainer.
ewww.

There were auditions for OKLAHOMA in early october. emily's audition piece was spectacular. i think mine was about mediocre. but i ended up getting basically a chorus part with 3 lines. and then a week or two ago, i was told that i get to beone of thetwo really cool dancing girls who dance in basically every scene. super sweet.

Shaun and I have been takingdance classes from OPAS together and to putit lightly, it isn't all that great. Shaun and I are the best people in that class and we're the only ones who make it look good. everyone else has no energy and i laughing all the freakin time about the moves. like "oh, hahah, that's so funny, what, we have to loke like marionettes? hahah, that hilarious, i think i'm just goingto stand here and make this dance look a lot worse than it has to." gawd, i hate people. i do feel sorry for shaun having to dance with tori. that is really awefull.

Scappoose lost at our homecoming game. Yessssss! we always win, and i'm sick of going to the footyball games aned seeing the other team have a tiny crowd and always lose. Go Astoria! :w00t: Alison came for homecoming too and it was tons o' fun.

I have to make a pamplet on inhalents for health class. isn't that a little ray of sunshine. Speaking of which, forthose ofyou who don'tknow, little miss sunshine is a spectacular movie. so is the blackm dahlia. it's so twisted and fiona shaw is amazing. she is my hero.

Choir concert coming up on november first. it's going to suck ass. I'm in treble choir now andthepeople inthat class arn't all that talented. for instance, yesterday, mrs. ganski had volunteers write the sight reading up on the board (because she didn't print any out for a two day week) and i voluntered for melodic and as soon as i did, everyone started moaning because they thought that if i wrote it, it would be to hard. that's incredibly retarded. and then when i got up there, it was three measures of only quarter notes and eighth notes with one aquard jump and a strange ending (i ended it on ti, which usually pisses people off). it was basically a sing-song melody but everyone still complained that it was too hard. it really wasn't all that difficult. i guess thati've neverbeen one to understand how people don't get sightreading. i've always been a bit... gifted with reading music. at least compared to the other people in my choirs.

i'm also kind of ticked that we haven't started music theory yet. I absolutley love music theory. it amazes me, i basically want to learn all the little unknown secrets about music. i love thoery. i'm a choir geek.

well, i guess i'll ttyl.

and if you don't love me

Wed Aug 23, 2006, 10:14 AM
let me go.

The engine Driver
the decemberists

that's my myspace song. I love it. I love the decemberists.

Well, I'm now in california, mill valley, to be exact.

None of the people that live in this house are here right now. It's just us scappoose houha's +julia.

Well, recentley i've gone to another camp, Camp westwind, and returned from that. Twas much fun. I just don't wanna be a teen lead next year because of the longer overnights and more hiking.

I finally got my new camera. It's not great and it eats batteries incredably fast, but still, i'm exstatic to have a camera of my own, now. All the pictures that I've been putting up lately arn't my new camera though, they are from trish's camera.

yesterday, we went to golden gate park and to this huge, beautiful greenhouse. My cousin rex got yelled at by this druggie/hippie/homeless girl for taking pictures of her, when really, he was taking pictures of the tunnel we were in. Gawd, i hate homless people. Now we're gonna go to the google campus where one of my other cousins works (the bostin family, their last name is "power"). I haven't seen him in quite some time, nor have i seen my other cousin, his twin, because she's been doing archaeoligy in egypt.

I have also recentley taught myself to play 3 1/2 decemberists songs. it's very cool.

well, i have to leave now so if anyone wants more info on how my trip's going, they probably already know because it would only be my friends who also have myspaces. so hah!

you know black is this year's pink

I got the wicked soundtrack!!!! it's so awesome!!!

I also got the Romeo + Juliett soundtrack. It is huge ass!
Well, in the time since my last journal, so many things have happened. My Fair Lady is now finished. We all went to the cast party yesterday and it was tons o' fun. I do have to say that no motter how much i thought that MFL really did suck, I'm really sad that it's over. :cries:There are so many people that I might not see again if they don't do next year's musical, and we all so much fun backstage, especially running to mcDonalds, always running the risk of getting yelled at by the hardy's and other old mean people. oh, speaking of the hardys, Abraham's a bastard! :-x my baloon was mentally challenged.

I actually found that strike turned out to be rather enjoyable. the first bit of it wasn't that fun because Sahun and I really weren't doing anything (because we asked for stuff to do and there really wasn't anything that wasn't being done already, besides unscrewing stuff) so we walked over to see the realy for life in the football field, but it was over. Then Shaun's mom found us walking around and got really pissed. When she yells, if you can keep from laughing at the strange things she's yelling, she makes it sound like if she could reach you, she would suck your soul out. Twas scary. But then, the last bit of strike was the fun part. shun, joey, and I volunteered to take te chairs and music stands back to the choir and band rooms, so Mr. Hardy gave us the big key ring. One of the keys unlocked basically everything in the music rooms and it was so great just exploring that area. After we discovered that we had the power to unlock virtually anything, we found this one room that I'm completley in love with; the room completley full of music. The walls were lined wioth cabinets full of music, there were shelfs full of envelopes with music in them. It was amazing, and i loved it so much. We have to make a vow that all of us will go back to that bit of the building with all the keys. ohhhhhhh, :music:i love music :music:

MFL is really what's taking up most of my thoughts right now. at least shaun and i will get to see the caberet whore in september when we start OPAS. She is so cool.

Elliott's at Camp Westwind. I leave for Camp Westwind on sunday (the same day that elliott leaves for his OMSI camp). It's going to be so much fun. I not going to see everyone for a week, and Shaun for two.

I've been over at Emily's house a lot. I stayed there for about a week when allison was there. That was the week of fair, in which Emily and i sang in the talent show and her picture ([link]) park got a blue ribbon and her nitting got some special award and gets to go to state. I just had to mention the picture. I went there yesterday after the cast party and played mario sunshine (who didn't see that coming). Twas awesome. Now i have yoshi!

I'm gonna go see aladdin on friday. for the second time. yup.

ZORZ MEANS NOTHING!!!

I couldn't be happier, thank goodness!

MySpaces and broken Cameras

Wed Jul 5, 2006, 1:52 PM
Well, the title thouroughly describes excactly (shaun can't say exactly, i just remembered) what this journal is about. Let's start with the myspace half.

Those of you that know me know that I have had a resilliant attitude towards MySpace for quite some time. There have been countless occasions where MySpace was brought up in a conversation, and I would say "MySpace is stupid". But after so many times of hearing my friends anf others tell me that i should get one, I finally gave into the pressure. If you want to see mine, the address is [link] so go ahead and give that a try.

Well, that soesn't really qualify as half, but that's all i have to say about my new myspace.

Now, about the camera.....well, I don't have one anymore. The camera I used to have (twas really crappy, anyways) was the family camera, but I used it more than my dad of my brother ( [link] ). Well, elliott decided to take the camera to school on the last dy of school and by the time he got home, the camera wouldn't work anymore. Elliott, I'm not blaming the breakage on you, but it is rather suspicious. But anyways, I'm getting my new camera later this summer when I go see my uncle this summer; he's a photographer (not profesionally), and we got into a conversation about cameras at the mountain and he said he would give me his old one. But that's not till august when we go and visit him.

well, this is a really short journal......um, my fair lady opens on July 14th and everyone should go see it!!!!!!

Um, if you weant to see a cool picture, er, look at this [link] . That's my "bro" (I'm a loser) on top of mt. tamn in california (where my uncle lives)

I'm just taking up space!!!

I watched high school musical when carly came over. It wasn't as bad as shaun said it was, but it still sucked. I only liked one song, the breakin' free song, just because it's pretty. And after that scene is my favorite moment in the movie; when the backdrop on hte stage for breakin' free pulls up into a basketball court. Carly and I were laughing so hard at that, even though it is stupid. Another really funny thing in that movie are all the people that are dancing around in the background. They're all so stupid!!!

just as a point of interest, as anyone ever heard of the choir song S'io Esca Vivo, because if you're in choir, you should convince your teacher person to have you sing that song because it's absolutley gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm eviler than you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Destructo Girl strikes back!!!!
